Only the radio unit can read positions, that means it gets all sights of every section's unit within range.
Units too far away from the radio won't give their sights to the radio.
For the next 3 days, these sights will appear in the map, except where an active unit has a sight (which is more recent
than the reading). This reading can be shared by all sections of the army, others radios can use the "check other reading" action to get
your reading.
If you want to know the date of a reading on a cell, let the mouse a while on it, the date will appear soon.
You can't read positions on an enemy occupied cell.
Weather affects range of reception of the radio.
In the example :
- In order to get the sight of a unit at 3 cells away horizontally, and 2 cells away vertically,
I need 37 pts in the reading range characteristic
- If the weather was sunny (based on a +6 sight bonus - see
Weather), I only need 31 pts in the reading range char
to get the sight of this unit.
- If the weather was rainy, we get a -3 sight malus, and I won't be able to get the unit's sight from this
location.
